Once upon a time, in the lands of the ancient nation of Israel, there occurred a little-noticed but very instructive event that manifested two valuable key implications for all seekers of wisdom from God.
In the extant ancient texts that have been included in the New Testament Scriptures, such an event was associated with the statement of Gamaliel, a Pharisee respected by many Jews, who wisely counseled those eager to condemn and persecute the early followers of Jesus Christ to leave them alone: ‘…for if this enterprise and this work is from man, it will be destroyed, but if it is from God, you cannot destroy it; beware lest you also become opponents of God’ (Acts 5:38, 39).
I think that you do not need any further explanation of the meaning, which is quite open and clearly expressed in the instructive hint of Gamaliel, that time will always show the truth of any undertaking.
You yourselves are capable of correctly realising this simple truth, although it must be admitted that, despite the presence of such awareness in a great number of people, those who believe in the greatness of their minds are not at all inclined to be guided by such truth.
In the current period of time I found it favourable to clarify to you what remained veiled in Gamaliel’s statement, but which is especially important for anyone aspiring to comprehend the true essence of the sacred faith to the Heavenly Father!
Pay special attention to the feature touched upon now, because it is this feature that will be decisive for the destiny of man and the whole society in this epochal period of time of the change of epochs from the Kingdom of Power to the Kingdom of Spirit!
It is this feature that is called upon to separate those who are able to pass through from those who are stuck in the gateway, where they themselves do not pass through and do not allow others to pass through!
Gamaliel was well acquainted with all the sacred texts of the Jews, and therefore knew all the dogmatic statements underlying this Scripture.
He was also familiar with the instructive statements that Jesus preached.
Gamaliel could not fail to see that there were discrepancies and fundamental differences between the traditional dogmatic views and what the one who called himself the Word of God preached.
In his instructive clue Gamaliel expressed his conviction, which, please note, did not at all imply the need to express any kind of comparative evaluation in order to show the untruthfulness of the new spiritual and ideological guidelines preached by Jesus, which were contrary to the traditional for all Jews dogmatic ideas about God and His works!
In his words Gamaliel showed that in spite of his belief in the completeness of the doctrines of his people, he fully allowed for a new manifestation of the Will of God, when such a manifestation might reveal to the world something hitherto unknown!
Gamaliel wisely realised that it is not up to man to predetermine when and how the Will of God should manifest itself in helping the human race!
That is why, when he came into contact with a phenomenon that implied a new Accomplishment of the Will of God, Gamaliel wisely did not allow himself to make a categorical judgement as to whether this Accomplishment was true or not.
It is given to man, only to the extent of his own spiritual maturity, either to believe in the truth of the manifested Accomplishment from God or not to believe.
The lack of disposition to believe in the truth of a new Accomplishment from God is a normal condition and cannot, because of this fact alone, make one a God-opponent.
He who is unable to see cannot be held responsible for not being able to accept what is invisible to him!
The possibility of becoming a God-opponent appears only to the one who is inclined to fanatically harm any manifested reality that implies an Accomplishment from God which he does not recognise as such by virtue of his own beliefs!
Of course, not everything new can actually refer to an Accomplishment from God, but this cannot necessarily mean that the abundance of manifested pseudo-truths absolutely excludes the probability of manifestation of the Truth itself!
Any progressive development, which implies an increasingly harmonious development of human nature, inevitably implies the acquisition by man of something new, which has been unknown and uncharacteristic for him!
In order to be able to move normally along such a path, it is very important to consider thoughtfully every new instructive reality that you encounter, and not to allow yourself to hastily condemn it just because it does not conform to your beliefs and preferences!
You will not be able to move forward successfully if you are constantly guided only by someone else’s ideas about the past, for by doing so you inevitably show a harmful distrust in the Heavenly Father, who always (!) provides everything necessary for your salvific development in the future!
Beware of hastily expressing self-confidence, for it is not up to you to predetermine how God is to bring saving help to you personally and to the entire human race!
Do not get stuck in the gateway as a hindrance to others, as it happens to those who, having imagined that they have a better understanding of the Truth, unreasonably try to impose this understanding of theirs on others!
No one among men who represent the existing creeds can be a mediator between God and others!
The Heavenly Father has never had and cannot have a chosen people!
The Heavenly Father has only a chosen humanity, as a Common Family of all His children, whom He loves equally!
In Gamaliel’s instructive admonition, a mature manifestation of the truth of trusting God is clearly expressed.
In truth I tell you that this trust in God was salvific for Gamaliel’s soul, even though he did not have the disposition to become a follower of the Good News manifested in his time.
Beware that you do not become God’s opponents!
